The Snowmen

This is Clara and the Doctor from Doctor Who and one nasty baddie and his nasty snowman from hell. I really enjoyed the Christmas special... so here is my tribute! This is also another addition to my Obsessions 100 Themes Challenge - 'Insanity'.

I was beginning to think I might NEVER finish this one. Definitely the most time I've ever spent on a drawing. It took between 27 and 30 hours. That said, I have to say that I'm quite happy with this one - it turned out mostly the way I had hoped it would. If I had it to do again, I think I might have drawn it on larger paper to be able to get the maximum amount of detail in.

I drew this on A4 bristol paper using 5H through to 8B graphite pencils, along with Q-tips, blending stumps, a kneaded eraser and my brand spankin' new 'Perfection 7056 Faber Castell' pink eraser in pencil form... I quite enjoyed using it!
