So. Charcoal worked perfectly for this, it brings out perfect lighting and you've shown the Doctor's expression really, very well. You captured the loneliness and age in his eyes, which is hard to do as the actual actor is nowhere near how old he is portrayed to be.
My only complaint - if any - would be that the lips seem a bit... inward. As if they're too tight. But that would be pushing to find a fault.
Drawing myself back to the eyes, there is a certain darkness to them, and not just because the paper is black! A lot of the Doctor's expression comes from his eyes, and they definitely make this piece what it is.
Once again, a fabulous piece of work produced by a fabulous artist.
